The course at Widnes Golf Club is a fine and easy-walking round that can be quite challenging in places. Indeed, golfers of all levels will find parts of this course extremely testing, as it possesses enough hazards to keep your full attention at all times. The par 3s in particular are somewhat tricky and you will find that all the greens on this parkland course are very well protected by strategically placed bunkers so be sure to pack a sand-wedge in your bag.
It is not a particularly long course, which will suit those golfers who like to have a relaxing, leisurely round; it measures only 5720 yards over eighteen holes, for which there is a par of 69.
